The creator of Powerplay is currently in middle school. She has been playing the violin for about 3 years now. During the first year that she started playing the violin, she struggled with trying to keep bow in the correct place. If your bow slides up and down your violin, leading to a strange strange noise, she can completely relate. About a year and a half ago her teacher mentioned that other students struggled with the correct placement of their bow as well, she started to think about ways to solve this issue. After months of trying out different ideas, she finally found a design that worked. She has been using this gadget herself for about 6 months now and has seen a huge improvement in her bow placement. She says that after using the gadget for a while, you get used to holding you bow in the correct place even if you stop using the gadget.
